These relaxing sports pants were originally designed to allow cyclists to move more easily and became a huge hit in the 90s. There is extra room around the hips to make it easier to pedal, and the tapered silhouette towards the hem prevents the hem from interfering with the wheels. We've tried to maintain the original pedal pusher pants silhouette as much as possible while still maintaining the K-3B look.
Pedal Pusher is usually made of denim, but we've updated it with a modern style using our own original knit fabric, 24HR-WEARABLE, a series developed based on the concept of "wanting to wear it 24 hours a day."
There are tucks on the front and the pockets are large. At the time, there were no flaps on the back pockets, but to match modern styles, flaps have been added to the back pockets, and a concealed zipper has also been added, maximizing functionality.
The tapered silhouette towards the hem remains the same as it was in the 90s, but the neat silhouette still looks natural today because it was made using high-gauge double knit with a flat, beautiful surface texture made possible by its high density, giving it a beautiful urban look.
The logo on the front zipper clearly follows the original design layout. With its water-repellent properties and high-power stretch properties, it is not only great for everyday use around town, but is also a pair of pants that those who actually ride their bikes can experience even greater attention to detail.
Yoshimasa Hoshiba commented, "In the 90s, I used to walk around town wearing the exact same outfit as in this photo. The style is a white shirt with pedal pusher pants, a belt and the shirt tucked in. In the photo, the shoes are Tod's. At the time, Tod's and Clarks Wallabees were popular... It's a fresh pants style that is a modern update of the 90's style.
